First Spinal Examination
What to expect at your first visit? We understand that you might be entering into the unknown when you walk through our doors. That is why our team is dedicated in helping you feel comfortable and answer as many questions as you need to familiarize yourself with Chiropractic.
Patient history form
You will be asked to fill in a patient history form, outlining your health background and nature of your visit. This form will then enable the doctor to conduct a more precise examination focusing on your areas of concern.
Initial consultation and examination
During your consultation with the doctor, you will be able to discuss your health concerns and goals. The purpose of this examination is to determine if you are a good candidate for chiropractic care. The doctor will then conduct orthopedic, chiropractic and neurological tests. They will study the way you turn and bend. These tests will help them locate areas of your spine that could be the cause of your problem. X -ray studies may be necessary to help diagnose your condition more thoroughly.
Your chiropractor will collect all the information from your consultation and examination and then will make a report of findings. He/She will go over all the findings and then formulate a plan of treatment.
