Nutritional Assessment

Chiropractic involves the treatment of disease without the use of drugs or surgery.  This involves many therapies outside the chiropractic treatment room such as nutritional supplements and support.

Most commonly we recommend specific nutritional support for musculoskeletal and nervous system related conditions.  The clinic maintains a stock of supplements, which emphasize purity and maximum absorption capabilities.  The manufacturers and suppliers that we choose have paid particular attention to non-toxic and non-allergenic formulas without additives, preservatives, binders, fillers, lubricants sugars and artificial colors.

Nutritional Supplements 

Following is the list of vitamins, minerals, homeopathic and herbal combinations that we regularly have in stock.  We also provide a special order service to our patients who need a specific product to get them well. 

ALLERGIPLEX: Combination of 3 homeopathic formulas for the treatment and relief of symptoms caused by airborne allergens; grasses, weeds, pollens, molds, animal dander, dust. 

B-COMPLEX: High potency B-Complex which acts as a natural tranquilizer on the nervous system to help reduce stress and relieve pain referral patterns.

BIOFREEZE: A greaseless, stainless cooling ointment containing the herb ILEX, which is ideal for acute muscle and joint discomfort.

BROMELAIN-PAPAIN+: This tablet is a combination of proteolytic enzymes which is highly effective for pain and inflammation.  It is unique in that it is also a digestive aid.

CALCIUM-MAGNESIUM (CAL-MAG) +D: Calcium-Magnesium in a vital 2:1 ratio.  A natural muscle relaxant, relieves muscle cramps and spasms and aids in sleeping.  Contributes to the health of teeth and bones and prevention and management of osteoporosis.

ECHINACEA (COMBINATION MIX OF 3 TYPES OF ECHINACEA): Immune booster:  natural antibiotic stimulates the immune system; acts as an antiviral agent; is effective in the prevention and recovery of colds and flus. 

EPA-DHA COMPLEX (Essential Fatty Acids from Cold Water Fish):

EPA-DHA Complex helps support and maintain healthy cardiovascular, nervous and immune system function  and is indicated for inflammatory conditions such as osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

GLUCOSAMINE COMPLEX: Recent research has confirmed that this supplement is very effective for a wide variety of arthritic conditions and/or injuries to ligament, cartilage or tendon tissues.

HMF POWDER (ACIDOPHILUS): A high-potency of lactobacillus acidophilus and lactobacillus bifidus formulated to discourage the colonization of hostile bacteria, and promote intestinal health.  Also highly effective for colds and flus, fungal and yeast infections and for assisting with the metabolism of cholesterol.

KAPREX: An herbal dietary supplement that provides fast acting, long-lasting natural joint relief that is easy on the gastrointestinal (GI) tract.

MAXUM MATRAGEN (Prenatal Vitamin-Mineral Formula):

Provides a well balanced, high-potency hypoallergenic combination of vitamins, minerals and herbs along with digestive enzymes and a wide range of antioxidants to assist and promote healthy pregnancy and lactation.

VASOTENSIN (NATURAL BLOOD PRESSURE SUPPORT):

Supports healthy vascular function for optimal blood flow and healthy blood pressure levels by supplying bioactive peptides from bonito fish.
