Dr. Kelly Graham is very much at home in Dunrobin, Ontario with her husband David and 3 boys:  Samuel, Aubry and Brennan.  She was raised in this small town 15 minutes north west of Kanata on the Ottawa river.

Dr. Kelly went to the local high school and was part of the first graduating class of West Carleton Secondary School.  It was obvious from an early age that she had a fascination with the inner workings of the human body.

After graduating from high school she pursued an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Human Kinetics from the University of Guelph.  She had a goal in mind of attending medical school to become an orthopedic surgeon.  Her path soon changed.  Dr. Kelly has always enjoyed a variety of sports and while at Guelph, decided to join the women’s varsity rugby team.  She was unfortunate to injure her back while playing, however, this eventually led her on her mission to become a chiropractor.

After her injury she tried conventional therapies which didn’t seem to help.  A friend suggested that she try chiropractic.  She was apprehensive initially, but soon experienced relief and improvements in her well being beyond what she thought was possible.  Dr. Kelly was eager to volunteer and learn at the local chiropractor’s office.  She soon discovered that a natural hands on healing approach without drugs or surgery was best suited for her career.

Dr. Kelly graduated in 1999 magna cum laude with her Doctor of Chiropractic from the National College of Chiropractic in Chicago, Illinois.  She has special interests in family, pregnancy, pediatric care and in sports injuries.  When Dr. Kelly was a student she was chosen to be part of the Chiropractic/Medical team at the 1999 World Championship Ironman Triathlon in Kona, Hawaii and donated chiropractic care to the athletes.

She feels that helping others is a gift and is very proud to be a chiropractor.  She is a member of: the Ontario and Canadian Chiropractic Associations, the College of Chiropractors of Ontario, the International Chiropractic Pediatrics Association and the Eastern Ontario Chiropractic Society.

She is certified in the Webster Technique. The Webster technique is a gentle chiropractic technique performed on pregnant women.  It allows babies the room to get into the best position for birth and often allows breech babies to turn in the womb, and leads to safer and faster births.

In her spare time, Dr. Kelly enjoys family time and nature.  She tries to exercise her mind and body and remains healthy with chiropractic care.  She likes to attend various continuing education seminars.  She is an avid runner with two marathons under her belt, enjoys playing soccer and has a personal lifetime goal of completing the Hawaii Ironman.  Dr. Graham’s most recent endeavour was co-authoring a book entitled: A Perinatal Guide to a Safe and Healthy Pregnancy.
