Kyla grew up in a small farming community in southern
Saskatchewan
. She was active in sports and community events during her school years, along with helping on her family’s farm. Following the completion of her Bachelor of Administration at
Rocky Mountain College
in
Billings
,
MT
, Kyla worked for the Bank of Montreal in commercial banking for three years. She then spent six months volunteering in a rural missionary community in
Ontario
. She moved to
Ottawa
in February 2003 and began work at a natural health and chiropractic clinic. In June of 2004 she joined the staff at Britannia Chiropractic. An upbringing that emphasized preventative health through natural methods led her to pursue work in the field of holistic health. Kyla believes that chiropractic care is foundational to maintaining optimal health. Her own experience has reinforced this, as well as witnessing the transforming effect of chiropractic treatment on others. Working in the field of holistic health gives Kyla the opportunity to further develop her interest in preventative health and healing.
