Celebrating Dr. Dick's Retirement
SEND RETIREMENT GREETINGS to DR. KEN W. DICK
For over 40 years Ken has thoroughly enjoyed the privilege of serving patients at the Britannia Chiropractic Clinic and he will retire on December 17, 2025.
When Ken began his practice, he had a calligrapher paint the following words in large letters in the reception room of the clinic.
“We are here to honour the inborn potential of everyone to be truly healthy. We seek to remove interference so the body can heal itself. We are grateful for the opportunity to witness nature’s miracles and the privilege to serve others”.
Those words still resonate with him today as he is truly grateful for the opportunity to have met over 11,000 patients.
Ken sold almost 5,000 copies of his book, Healing Satori, and is bursting with pride now that he has 2 children continuing his chiropractic legacy. He jokes that he will need at least 2 chiropractors to keep him going in his later years.
He is also relieved to know that he leaves his patients in good hands, in that they are welcome to continue their care with Dr. Patrick Kirkham at the same clinic or with his son, Dr. Matthew Dick who has practiced for 3 years at the Kanata Family Chiropractic Clinic:

Wow…what a surprise to read. As I receive the many accolades for my career I would be remiss if I did not make mention of the support I have had from my family…and especially my wife, Catherine. You are the only one that knows of the challenges behind the scenes and there was many a day that I needed you to help me succeed. You put your own needs aside to hold me up and you deserve full recognition as well. Those cold, dark mornings where I trudged to work in traffic only to receive a text upon arrival calling me Superman is just one example. You have always been the rock in my world. Thank you. With love, Ken
It has been a pleasure working with you at the clinic and seeing first hand the care and compassion you have shown to all your patients. Very grateful that I was able to share a small part of your accomplished career.
I will miss files flying across the front desk(with a 99.9% success rate)!
Enjoy everything the future holds for you and your family. You will be missed.
Sincerely,
Lise
Thanks Lise. One of the main reasons I continued in my career as long as I did was because I had staff like you that were doing all you could to make the practice run smoothly. I may just have to pop in once in a while to test my file throwing skills under the guise of wanting to see your welcome smile. Keep living well. Ken
Good day Dr. Dick. A chapter in your life ends…and a new one begins…Thank you very much for forty+ years of my good care. Enjoy your retirement in good health…Best regards, JY
Jeff and I would like to congratulate you on your retirement. 40 years is quite an accomplishment. I would to thank you for the great care you gave our family over the years.
